Data challenge

The data challenge for the Extreme Value Analysis 2027 conference is organized in collaboration with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), headquartered in Montréal. It consists of three prediction tasks related to the estimation of the extremal characteristics of in-flight turbulence events experienced by transatlantic flights.

Registration will open by the end of September 2026. Participants will need to fill a sign-up form and a non-disclosure agreement to access the data.
